Daha önce Uluslararası Veteriner Hemşire ve Teknisyenleri Birliğine (International Veterinary Nurses and Technicians Association IVNTA) üye olmak için bir girişimde bulunmuştum (BURAYI TIKLAYINIZ) IVNTA 'da yeni dönem yapılanması ve çalışmaları gerçekleştirilmeye başlandı. Artık üye organizayonlar dönemlik olarak sekreterliğini üstlenecek. Bu dönem IVNTA organizasyonunun sekreterliğini ve yöneticiliğini Kanada Hayvan Sağlığı Teknolojistleri ve Teknisyenleri Derneği (Canadian Association of Animal Health Technologists and Technicians CAAHTT) üstleniyor. CAAHTT'dan IVNTA Sekreterliğini üstlenen Tescilli Veteriner Sağlık Teknisyeni (Registered Veterinary Technician) Sandy Hass ile yaptığım görüşmede IVNTA'nın yeni dönemde dünya çapında mesleki dernekleri araştırma çalışmalarına hazırlandığını belirtti.
