AÖF Veteriner Sağlık Ön Lisans Bölümünde Büyük Değişiklikler

2011-2012 Eğitim Döneminde AÖF Laborant ve Veteriner Sağlık Ön Lisans bölümünde büyük değişikler göze çarpıyor.


Öncelikle eğitimde 6 haftalık (30 iş günü) staj zorunluluğu getirilmiş. Stajlar birinci sınıfın bahar dönemi ve ikinci sınıfın bahar dönemlerinde yapılacak. En önemli değişiklik ise ders müfredatında gerçekleşmiş. Bu ders müfredatının eskisine oranla çok daha iyi olduğunu söylemem gerek ama yine de ABD, Kanada ve AB'deki Veteriner Sağlık Teknikerliği Eğitiminden (Veterinary Technologist Education) geride. Mesela Veteriner Dişçilik, Anesteziyoloji, Patoloji gibi derslerin de olması gerekiyordu aslında. Ama bu bile önemli bir adımdır.

Gelelim derslere, veteriner hekimliği alanına ait derslerin sayısında artış görülüyor ki bu olması gereken şeydi. Yıllardır AÖF Laborant ve Veteriner Sağlık Ön Lisans'ın çok yetersiz olduğunu söylüyorduk, sesimiz ulaştı demek ki :)  ;
